Editor's Note
The Ağasar 2 Bridge is a masonry bridge running east to west in the Şalpazarı district of Trabzon. Built with a single span and a pointed arch, it uses cut stone in the arch and parapets and rubble stone elsewhere. Its piers rest on bedrock, and there are niches on the inner faces of the arch. Still in use as a bridge today, its deck is partly covered by vegetation.
