It is a work of early Ottoman architecture from the 15th century. Made of cut stone, it is domed, and the dome is covered with herringbone-grooved tiles. Buried within it are Nureddin Toğrak, governor of Amasya and one of the Seljuk commanders, his son Şemseddin İnaç, his grandson İzzeddin Balaban, and other descendants. Following an incident during the Ottoman period, the tomb came by corruption to be known as the Selamet Hatun Tomb.
