The İltekin Gazi Bridge is a large stone bridge with six spans and semicircular arches, built over the Yeşilırmak about 6 km east of central Amasya, on the Mecitözü road, south of the Ferhat Gorge. With a deck 94 metres long and 4.67 metres wide, it is one of the region's most monumental bridges. Built with the fill-wall technique using a mix of tuff and basalt, it features five triangular-plan cutwaters on its upstream face and, between the third and fourth arches, a striking half-hexagonal balcony-like projection.
