The Hanyanı (Dereli) Bridge in the Dereli district of Giresun is a single-span stone bridge with a pointed arch that links the two sides of the valley. Built using tuff and basalt stone, it was once an important crossing point on the local roads connecting to the interior. Used today mostly by pedestrians, the bridge takes the name "Hanyanı" (beside the inn) from an inn said to have stood nearby but no longer surviving. 1
