Editor's Note
The Süllü Güney Bridge is a single-span stone bridge with a semicircular arch, built east-west over the Süllü Stream on the Pınarlar-Yavuz Kemal road southwest of the Dereli district of Giresun. Built with the fill-wall technique using regularly dressed tuff in the arch and a mix of roughly dressed basalt and river stone in the spandrel walls, the structure has been dated by comparison with similar examples in Trabzon and Gümüşhane to no earlier than the 19th century and no later than the 1920s.
