Editor's Note
An inscription above the entrance of this mosque, which consists of a portico and a prayer hall, states that it was built in 1600. Between 1975 and 1978 it was rebuilt true to its original by the General Directorate of Foundations (VGM), with the entrance, mihrab and window jambs preserved. Built in masonry, the structure has an elongated rectangular plan (8.90 × 13.05 m). For materials, dressed basalt stone was used in the body walls. The portico, carried on four square-section wooden posts, has a wooden ceiling inside. The corners of the posts are chamfered.
