Editor's Note
The church served the Greek community for many years. It was damaged, along with neighboring buildings, in a fire that broke out in 1904, after which it was renovated and reopened for worship. Following the population exchange, its bell tower was demolished and the building was used for many years as a cinema. Today it serves as a wedding hall.
