Editor's Note
The Tomb of Rûmî Hoca stands at a fairly high point in the Çamiçi locality of Diphacı Village in the Merzifon district of Amasya. The site commands the plain around present-day Bulak Village, the center of the old district of Merzifonabad, and its surroundings. To the west of the tomb is a graveyard, and to the southwest a soup kitchen. The Tomb of Rûmî Hoca has a rectangular plan and is built of finely cut stone. Its roof, once of timber, was later covered with a concrete barrel vault clad in corrugated tiles. The doorway has a flattened arch and finely cut stone jambs.
