Editor's Note
Known as the Erek Bathhouse, this hammam is one of the few surviving structures from Old Erbaa. It stands about 150 meters northeast of the Erbaa bus terminal, in the area known as the lower quarter. Built to a high standard for the architecture of its time, the bathhouse was commissioned by the private patrons Hacı Durmuşzade Hüseyin Efendi and Hacızade Ahmet Efendi.
