INSCRIPTION: Within the fountain's arched niche is a horizontal rectangular inscription measuring 0.48 x 0.35 m. The prose inscription, written in Ottoman Turkish in celî talik script, is worked in the incised-ground technique on marble in three lines. The lines of the inscription are separated from one another by thin moldings. The inscription reads: 1- Yılık… Zâde 2- This is the charitable work of Hacı Abdurrahman Efendi, son of Hacı Ali Ağa 3- Year 1327, repaired (Balkır, 2018, p. 688).
