DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to its inscription, the fountain was built in AH 1327 / AD 1909. PATRON: According to the inscription, it was built by Ali Ağa. INSCRIPTION: On the western façade of the fountain is an Ottoman Turkish inscription in celî sülüs script, written in the incised-ground technique on a horizontal rectangular marble panel measuring 0.56 x 0.45 m. The inscription is in four lines, with the lines separated by thin moldings.
