Located on Yozgatlı Street in the Karataş Quarter in the center of Çankırı province, the fountain was built in the late 19th-early 20th century and was demolished by the municipality in 1989 (Şahin et al., 2014, p. 232). According to a surviving photograph, it was an independent, single-fronted fountain built of cut stone. Its segmental arch rests on two piers with profiled capitals and bases.
