LOCATION: The fountain stands in front of the mosque in Karatekin Village, 12 km from the center of Korgun district. DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to the surviving inscription, the historic fountain was built in AH 1321 / AD 1903-04. PATRON: Unknown. INSCRIPTION: The inscription belonging to the historic fountain is now kept on the roof of the new fountain built today. Measuring 0.65 x 0.42 m, the horizontally rectangular inscription is framed on the outside by a thick border, and its upper right corner is broken.
