The cemetery (hazire) on the site is the burial ground containing the zawiya and Naqshbandi lodge of a man named Abdulgafur Efendi, where he and some of his followers are interred. His zawiya, lodge, and tomb were demolished in 1936. According to the information plaque above the entrance gate today, it is conveyed that a man named Sheikh Mehmet Efendi is buried in this area.
