Editor's Note
It stood at 2nd Tolacesme Cul-de-sac on Tolacesme Street in the Harsat neighborhood of Tosya district (Gokoglu, 1952, p. 412). Built as a single-faced, reservoirless, tangent-arched street fountain, the structure has vanished entirely over time, but its fine original inscription, written in celi ta'lik script, is preserved at the Kastamonu Archaeology Museum. The inscription reads: 1- The patron of good and charitable works, 2- the wife of Destan (?) Aga, 3- Serife Hanim, for the sake of God, 4- this is the fountain she had built. Year 1251 (Gokoglu, 1952, p.)
