The tomb stands on a small hill beside Mount Arafat, north of the town of Osmancik. According to its inscription, which no longer survives in place, it was built in AH 874 (AD 1469-1470). Built of dressed rubble stone, the tomb, in both its front section and its conical roof, displays its recent repairs through its blackened surfaces and renewed elements. To the octagonal-plan tomb, with its conically roofed main space, a two-part porticoed entrance section has been added at the front. The structure, set on the hilltop, is placed to one side within a large garden.
