It is located within the boundaries of Agacagil village in the Izmit district of Kocaeli province. It was built in the 16th century. The mosque, registered in 2010, was restored and reopened for worship in 2017-2018. Around the mosque there is a cemetery (hazire) in use since the 16th century and a fountain.
