Editor's Note
Built in the 1800s, the mosque was rebuilt in 1933. A porch for latecomers was added in 1954, and the annexes on its side were constructed in 1971. Damaged in the earthquake of 17 August 1999, the mosque was demolished and rebuilt in 2017.
