The Portakal Hafız Mansion is a historic mansion in İzmit, the centre of Kocaeli Province. It is known to have been built as a three-storey structure before 1860 by the governor of the period, Mutasarrıf Hasan Paşa. The mansion suffered two major fires, in 1970 and 2014, and after the latter it was rebuilt as three storeys in keeping with its original form. Today it serves as the Kocaeli Local Culture Museum.
