Editor's Note
This is the lodging house of the school opened by the Americans in 1873. Established on a 60-dönüm plot at the foot of the Samanlı Mountains, the school became a full-fledged campus in 1898, comprising a nursery, an infant care home, a primary school, an orphanage, and a vocational school. In addition to all this, a cistern, a laundry, a library, and a printing house belonging to the school were also built on the campus.
