This is a historic station hotel in the Derince district of Kocaeli. The Derince Hotel is a historic building that served as accommodation for passengers disembarking at Derince station in the early years of the Republic of Turkey. It was converted into a community facility by the Derince Municipality in 2019 and today serves as the Derince Public Reading House (Millet Kıraathanesi).
