Karabali Mektebi
Karabali Mektebi is a historic building in Karamürsel, Kocaeli; Built in 1527 by Kara Balibey ibn Ahmet, a descendant of Şeyh Edebali who is regarded as one of the spiritual architects of the Ottoman state, this school (medrese) was part of a complex comprising a caravanserai, a bathhouse, a school (darü't-ta'lim), and a fountain, and has not survived to the present day.
