Editor's Note
It was built in 1887 by Hidayet Beyzade Hacı Mehmet Ağa. In 2001 a measured survey was taken by the Ankara Regional Board for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage; as the mosque had been damaged in the earthquake and found to be unsound, it was decided to rebuild it.
