Editor's Note
The fountain belongs to the legal entity of Çukurören village. It was registered as protection group '1' by decision no. 6178 of the Conservation Board, dated 22 November 2018. LOCATION: The fountain is in Çukurören village, 15 km from the center of the Korgun district, on block 124, parcel 3. DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to the inscription on its south face, it was built in AH 1233 / AD 1817-18. According to that same inscription, it was repaired in AH 1302 / AD 1884-85. PATRON: Unknown. INSCRIPTION: The fountain bears two inscriptions belonging to the old fountain.
