The Hoca Hasan Village Inn stands on the highland pasture of Hoca Hasan village, southeast of the Kurşunlu district center, at the Hanönü site, along the route the locals once called the 'highland road.' Based on current evidence, the inn's builder, patron, and construction date are not known for certain. If the inscribed stone (the foundation inscription) that villagers say once existed is found, these details may become clearer. However, the surviving plan and architectural features suggest that the inn may date from the Anatolian Seljuk period.
