LOCATION: This fountain stands in the village square of Kapaklı, 11 km from the center of the Kurşunlu district. DATE OF CONSTRUCTION: According to its inscription, it was built in AH 1216 / AD 1801-02. PATRON: Unknown. INSCRIPTION: Just above the arch of the fountain, within a 0.25 x 0.40 m cartouche, is a horizontal rectangular date inscription. From the '1216' placed within this cartouche, it is understood that the fountain was built in AH 1216, that is, AD 1801-02.
