The center of Kurşunlu was once just a small village, formed by villagers who gathered to worship at a modest castle and its church. Today's Kurşunlu Castle, also known as Andinata Castle, was built in Byzantine times and has survived to the present day. Source: www.kursunlu.gov.tr
