This is a mosque built in 1323 using the log-construction (çandı) method by Orhan Gazi, who had come on a campaign to the village of Çayağzı in Akçakoca. The transcription of the gravestone inscription was made by Mr. Furkan Yiğit Gürleyik on 21 May 2026.
