Editor's Note
Located 10 km from the ancient city of Prusias ad Hypium, the aqueduct is about 160 m long and roughly 20 m high. Built in two stories of mixed cut and rubble stone with horasan mortar, only the piers of the arches have survived to the present day. The aqueduct, dating to the Hellenistic and Roman periods, covers an area of 5,672.11 m².
