The "Konuralp Historic Town Square Arrangement and Restoration Project," prepared jointly by the Düzce Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Düzce Municipality, qualified for a grant from the Eastern Marmara Development Agency (MARKA). The project, prepared and submitted to the Eastern Marmara Development Agency under the Small-Scale Cultural and Tourism Infrastructure Financial Support Program, aimed to give the Konuralp Historic Town Square a touristic vision, to display in their original form the historic buildings important to the town's collective memory, and to pass this tangible cultural heritage on accurately to the next generation.
