It has no inscription. The mosque was first built during the reign of Yıldırım Bayezid, in the Hijri year 802 (1399 CE). In 1910 it was demolished and rebuilt. Having collapsed in the 1944 earthquake, the mosque was rebuilt by the local people in 1947.
