It is square in plan and single-spaced. The mosque, built in the 13th century, has had its original form altered by later repairs and renovations. It is entered through a later-added covered entrance space. It is covered with a wooden ceiling. To the north is a women's gallery carried on wooden posts. There are rectangular windows of various sizes on the mosque's facades. A historic fountain abuts the east wall. Its hipped roof is covered with Marseille tiles.
