Editor's Note

The mosque in Derbent, one of the charming locales of the Kartepe district, was built in 1899 (AH 1317) by the Ottoman sultan Abdulhamid II after the death of Habibe Hanim, a servant who worked at his palace. Source: Kultur Portali (Culture Portal).
