Located within the boundaries of the Bursal (Yaylabağ) neighbourhood of Ankara's Gölbaşı district, the Yaylabağı Mound measures roughly 100 × 158 m and stands 11 m high. It was studied by S. Omura as part of surface surveys conducted in the Central Anatolia Region. The remains of a structure were identified on the eastern slope of the mound, and a water source/fountain in its northeastern section. Archaeological finds reveal that the settlement was inhabited during the Middle–Late Bronze Age and the Iron Age.
