Editor's Note
This is the school built in 1892 by the Governor of Ankara, Sırrı Paşa, and popularly known as the Taş Mektep (Stone School). After it was demolished, the Yüksek İhtisas Hospital was built on the site. On the 1924 Map of Ankara it is shown as the Ministry of National Defence Building.
