Editor's Note
Apart from the bathhouse, no document has been found that would shed light on the architectural features of the other lodge units lying to the west of this structure. It can readily be assumed that these were modest buildings constructed with materials such as adobe and timber, as used in Ankara's traditional vernacular architecture. It has not been possible to examine and date the bathhouse in detail. It can, however, be said to share the same characteristics as the small bathhouses whose counterparts are found in palaces, mansions, waterside residences and dervish lodge buildings.
