The building has an L-shaped mass: the long, north-south arm is two storeys above a half-basement, while the other arm is three storeys. It is covered by a hipped roof set behind a tall parapet wall. The long arm of the L holds the classrooms, while the short arm contains large spaces such as the laboratory, lecture hall and workshop, along with the administrative offices. Rows of columns enriching the space catch the eye in the classroom corridors. The building's façades are arranged in a functional, plain manner in keeping with the International Style architecture of the period.
