Editor's Note
It came to light during the foundation excavations for the İş Hanı building in Ulus in 1954. To the east of the Cardo Maximus, on the side facing the street next to the Ulus İş Hanı complex, a small bathhouse structure was also uncovered. Judging by its identifiable features, this building may be a Pompeii-type bath of the kind seen in the second or third century (Kadıoğlu and Görkay, 2007).
