Gökçeoğlu Mescidi

Labelled "İbn-i Gökçe Mosque" on the 1924 Map of Ankara, the building is known as the Gökçeoğlu Mescid (prayer hall). Recorded in the sources as being on Pul Sokak in the Gökçeoğlu neighbourhood, the mescid has not survived to the present day. In today's Ankara, it can be said to have stood near the corner where Posta Avenue (Şehit Teğmen Kalmaz Avenue) meets Sanayi Avenue in Ulus. The former Pul Sokak here was eliminated during the street redevelopments.
