In a 1995 article titled "Danyal Tevfik Çiper" written for Mimarlık magazine (issue 264, pp. 20-27), Selda Başbuğoğlu describes the building as follows: each floor of the four-story building was designed differently according to the particular wishes and needs of the family members who would live there. The building, housing six apartments in total, has on its top floor duplex units with five bedrooms each designed for the brothers; on the first floor the apartments of the parents and the sister; and on the bottom floor rental apartments with three bedrooms each.
