The fountain is located in the Karşıyaka (Bağlum) neighborhood of the Keçiören district of Ankara province, on title-deed block 2608, parcels 1-2, west of the village settlement. According to its Ottoman Turkish inscription carved on marble, it dates to AH 1316 (AD 1898), the Late Ottoman period.¹ It is built of cut stone. ¹ By decision no. 1917 of the Ankara Regional Board for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage dated 02.12.2021, the fountain was registered under conservation group "1."
