The studio is located in the Anıttepe neighborhood of the Çankaya district of Ankara province, on block 6820, parcel 29, just north of the National Library. By decision no. 6540 dated 29.03.2019, the studio was registered under conservation group "1." The Ankara Branch of the Chamber of Architects, which took to court the rejection of registration requests for the TRT Arı and Orkut Studios—now under threat of demolition—as well as the zoning change concerning the site, stated: "The court experts gave their opinion that our cultural heritage, the TRT Arı and Orkut Studios, must be protected, and that the zoning change is not in the public interest."
