Shaped like the Black Sea and used for swimming, this pool was commissioned by Atatürk in 1931. Two plane trees that Atatürk had planted have been preserved to this day. Restored as part of the construction of the Statesmen's Memorial Cemetery, the historic Black Sea Pool now has its surroundings arranged as a recreation area, and the Black Sea Kiosk serves food and drinks to visitors.
