Editor's Note
According to the photograph caption identified in the Abdülhamid II Archive, it is described as: "A photograph taken at the opening of the noble mosque newly built in the name of Sultan Osman Han III in the village of Şahbaz, attached to the Çorlu Imperial Estates Branch, under the bounteous grace of His Excellency the Caliph. In the years 1320 and 1318. (1902)." It was registered as a Cultural Property to be Protected (Group 1) by decision no. 8317 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 19 April 2022.
