Its inscription reads: That Cağalazade İbrahim Bey, a man of virtue, built this charming fountain for the soul of Ahmet Bey. Come, come and drink; may the water of life flow from this fine fountain. Its spout, giving drink, tells its date to the thirsty (1103). Commissioned by: Cağalazade İbrahim Bey (1692).
