Its inscription reads: To the seeker of good works, the late Mehmet's mother built a fountain for his soul, that fountain of generosity. The houris and youths plead, saying its date: "Its cup was always filled from the water of Kawthar." AH 1124 (1713). Address: at the corner where Raziye Hanım and Şabanoğlu Streets meet, Aydoğdu Neighbourhood, sheet 7, block 38, parcel 1. Detailed description: The fountain has a square plan and is built of rough-hewn stone with mortar jointing. In the centre of the façade joined to the reservoir on the south side, a shallow niche with a depressed pointed arch formed of five pieces of cut stone can be seen.
