This site lies within the Nusratlı quarter of the Süleymanpaşa district in Tekirdağ province. The vaulted structure on the site, built of a brick-and-mortar mix, was observed to contain water channels inside and to be filled with water. It is thought to be a covered water-distribution chamber (maksem) where water collected here was distributed in different directions through channels. It is believed to have supplied water to the nearby city of Panados (Bisanthe). It was registered as a First-Degree Archaeological Conservation Area by decision no. 5176 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 27 June 2018.
