This site lies within the boundaries of Şalgamlı quarter in the Hayrabolu district of Tekirdağ province. In the southern part of the Şalgamlı Cemetery, which is still in use for burials today, ten surviving Ottoman-period gravestones have been found. Those among them that are legible are thought to date to the 19th century. The site was registered as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 2) by decision no. 7421, dated 23 February 2021, of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
