Editor's Note
This site lies within the boundaries of Hacıevhat quarter in the Malkara district of Tekirdağ province. The area contains a small number of menhirs along with Late Period (18th-19th century) Ottoman and Republican-era graves. No burials take place there today. It was proposed for registration as a Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 1) by decision no. 3448, dated 18 March 2011, of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.
