It is located within the boundaries of Adilhan village in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale province. The structure, situated at the Kale Tepe site, includes building remains brought to light by illegal excavations within an area identifiable by the fortification-wall remains on the southwestern slope of the hill. Byzantine-period roof tiles are among the finds most frequently encountered in the area. Around the illegal excavation pits, terracotta fragments belonging to various bowls and pots have also been found. The ceramic group in the area, datable to the Late Eastern Roman - Medieval period, indicates that the castle was also built in this period.
